How to eat for a symptom-free menstrual cycle

Your period doesn’t have to be terrible.

Seriously! You don’t have to call out of work, feel like you’re a monster you don’t recognize, or be in incredible pain for one week out of every month.

Common PMS and period symptoms, like cramps, mood swings, bloating, constipation and diarrhea, tender breasts, headaches, dizziness, and fatigue, aren’t permanent condition. They’re actually evidence of imbalances that CAN be remedied, and not just with the birth control pill or a lot of pain-relief medication.

What we’ll do:

In this live, virtual workshop, I’ll be sharing 12 key diet habits that can help you have a more easeful, peaceful pre-menstrual and menstrual period. (Can’t join us live? You’ll have access to the recording for 2 weeks.)

With these 12 keys, I’ll:

  • bust some myths about foods like dairy and gluten
  • share how to best use (or avoid) popular trends like superfoods and intermittent fasting
  • demystify period cramps and share my favorite practices for relieving them
  • discuss the 4 causes of bloat and how to relieve each of them
  • and more!

You’ll walk away from this workshop feeling empowered and confident about which foods and habits can best support you to reduce period issues and feel good throughout the month.

About your guide:

I’m Sam, I’m an Āyurvedic Health Counselor, nutrition PhD, and mom. My periods used to be debilitating, leaving me dizzy and dehydrated from the pain and digestive issues they caused. With the help of diet changes as well as other Āyurvedic practices, I now have nearly symptom-free periods — I experience just a little extra fatigue and water retention — and have coached dozens of women on how to have a more easeful period as well. I’m excited to share these effective dietary strategies with you.

Sam’s ability to share, what can be complex concepts, in an approachable way makes learning fun. Her welcoming & supportive nature creates an environment that feels good to be part of.”
