Finding Calm in the Eye of the Storm

Today’s podcast comes out of a mix of yogic teachings, self-reflection, and conversation with clients. It’s so common to feel pulled in multiple directions. First you’re happy about this, then sad about that. An issue at work turns into problems at home, or anger at something you did turns into frustration with others. We can tell when we’re not acting from integrity and when we’re not proud of our actions, but how do we handle those feelings?

Today we’re using a visualization that I come back to again and again. Being the eye of the storm means you’re tapping into the quiet calm center that exists inside. It means you can act from a place of peace, even if the world doesn’t feel very peaceful.
