Fall Goals and Vision Boarding Workshop
For many of us, pandemic has turned into a waiting period. We’re waiting to find out when we can take a trip, when we can sit and work in our office or a coffee shop, or we can have a big gathering with friends. Things start to feel a little stagnant – we wish we knew what to look forward to or hope for. This sense of being in a pause or holding pattern hurts our creativity, our joy, and our motivation. In this workshop, we’ll use different techniques like meditation, journaling, and yoga nidra to identify our highest goals, and then create a vision board as a physical reminder of where we want to go, who we want to be, and how we want to feel in these next few months.
What We’ll Do:
We’ll explore the science of goals and the purpose of setting intentions. We’ll discuss what social scientists say is the best way to set (and achieve) goals, do a guided meditation and yoga nidra to tap into our deepest desires, and make a vision board to have a physical representation of our goals (which by the way, will help keep us motivated and on track!)
Who This Workshop is For:
Anyone who wants to enter this fall with intention and awareness.
What You’ll Need:
- 4-6 magazines, preferably spanning different topics or brands.
- Any personal photos or words you know you’d like to include on your vision board.
- Glue stick
- A piece of cardboard (between 8/12 x 11” and 11” x 16” is a good size). You can cut a piece of cardboard from any deliveries you receive to your home.
When and Where:
Sunday August 23rd, 10am-12pm on Zoom. You’ll receive the Zoom link the morning of the workshop. A recording of the workshop is available for Sangha Members on Patreon. For $33, you’ll get the recording of the workshop and free registration to join the live session.
